West Virginia Regional

Doug Stamper and David Ferguson take top honors.

The West Virginia Regional was held on Stonewall Jackson and featured challenging conditions for the anglers. The water temperature temperature dropped significantly due to an influx of rain from Hurricane Matthew and the winning team brought just four fish to the scales.

Doug Stamper and David Ferguson were able to catch four fish for 8.49lbs and that included the big bass of the event at 3.21lbs. Even though they won, the four fish they caught were all of the bites they had during the tournament. "That's all we had, four bites and four fish. We caught them all way deep in the trees with soft plastics," said Stamper.

Congrats to all of the top finishers!
