2021 Webster
2021. ***Webster***
With an early May tournament on Webster Lake you never know what teams will get. A lot of factors play into a great day on the water including weather, spawn cycle, boat traffic and luck.
With nine teams entering the tournament the competition was palatable at the 7 a.m. launch. Good to be back on the water after a long winter was the most heard comment around the check in table.
With teams heading into the scale 2 teams found themselves separated by .20 lbs. Baurley and Breach managed third place and the Tackle Warehouse Prize pack with 9.32 lbs winning the prize with their lunker edging out Santaniello and Gagliarducci who had the same weight.
Jason and Kevin Shea made a strong return to the trail with 10.04lbs and a second place finish. The Labarre Brothers edged them out with a winning weight of 10.24lbs, taking home first overall.
2021 ***South Watuppa***
Well gail force winds, rain in buckets, an balmy 50 degree day and only 5 teams taking the challenge of South Watuppa at its worst. With a shortened day 5 teams made it to the scales. The top spot went to the team of Rose and Poulin fresh off the National Championship. Cote and Cote finished with a strong second place finish also returning to Massachusetts from the Bass Cat Classic. Labarre and Labarre finished third taking home the Tackle Warehouse Prize pack.
2021 *** Manchaug***
Manchaug is in the books. Teams had to fish their way through pickeral, weeds and short fish on Saturday. The largest pickeral I have ever seen was caught by Mike Griffin and deserves a little shout out. With 7 teams hitting the water there was plenty of room on Manchaug. At the end of the day Cote and Cote brought the winning bag to the scales with 9.06 lbs. Second place went to Labarre brothers.
2021 ***Congamond***
The second half of the Massachusetts Division started of with an early July battle at Congamond. Two new teams joined the mix, welcome to Boughan/Rickis and Labombard/Moure. 8 of the 10 teams cracked double digits by the end of the day. Continuing with their string season and maintaining first place in the division the Labarre Brothers scored lunker and 1st place. A 15.94 lb bag was almost a pound and a half better then second place. Rose/Poulin left their mark with 14.44 lb's ans a strong second place finish. Third place and winning the Tackle Warehouse prize pack was Los/Los.
2021 ***Cochituate***
The final regular season tournament of the year is in the books. Cochituate was a perfect way to end the season with Labarre and Labarre needing to catch one fish to lock up the season championship and Pete Hoseason shooting for his third Big Bass pay day in a row. Rich and Ray got the job done early and managed to cull up cookie cutter bass to take another first place pay out. Pete did his job as well coming to the scale with a 4.08lb bass claiming his third Big bass in a row. Baurley and Breach finished with a stout 13.45lb bag for second place. Los and Los will be added to their tshirt collection walking away with another tackle warehouse prize pack.
