Directors Classic Tournament: 

Important Points to Remember!!!

• Qualification:
  • All current USA BASSIN Directors are welcome to participate in Directors Classic.
  • Licensed Guides currently guiding Kentucky/Barkley Lakes are not eligible to participate in the Directors Classic.
  • Any angler(s) that wins this event three (3) times will not be eligible to participate in any future Directors Classic.
• Dates:
  • The Kentucky & Barkley Lakes will be open to pre-fishing.
  • Official Practice will open starting October 15th, 2025.
    • During the Official Practice, teams may employ a guide or communicate with anyone not competing in the Director’s Classic to gain an advantage over the rest of the field.
  • Registration & Pretournament Meeting: November 8th, 2025
  • Tournament Day: November 9, 2025
• Registration & Pretournament Meeting:
  • Registration for this event will be located at the Kentucky Dam Marina Ramp starting at 3:00pm (Central Time) Saturday, November 8th, 2025, with the pretournament meeting to follow at 4:00pm (Central Time). One member of each team must be present at the pre-tournament meeting, or that team will be disqualified. Teams may use a proxy if they are unable to attend the Registration/Meeting. There will not be a proxy fee for this event.
• Entering the Event:
  • The entry fee for this event is $150.00.
  • All mailed-in entries must be post marked by October 15, 2025.
  • USA BASSIN will accept a VISA or Master Card payment until October 31, 2025 (There will be a 7% Service Fee for paying with a credit card)
  • Entries (CASH ONLY with $10 late fee) will be accepted during registration prior to the beginning iof the official meeting for this event.
  • This event is limited to 250 teams.
  • Boat numbers will be assigned based upon date entry is received.
• Refunds: 
  • If the Director is contacted by October 15, 2025, USA BASSIN will refund $120.00 of the entry fee.
  • After October 15th, 2024, there will NOT be a refund of the entry fee.
  • To receive your refund, please e-mail your mailing address along with the name of the event to: customerservice@usabassin.com.
• Weather Delays and Cancelations:
  • Small Watercraft Wind Advisory: If the wind is projected to be 18mph (based on The Weather Channel App) at any time during the tournament hours the director may cancel that day of the tournament.
  • In the event of extreme weather conditions such as tornados, severe weather warnings, or lightning, the tournament director may put the tournament on hold until all warnings expire, or the storms have passed. Then and only then will we proceed with the tournament.
  • Should the tournament be delayed due to the weather and we decide to launch, the check-in times will stand as posted.
  • If the storms or warnings have not passed or expired prior to 10:00am, the director and staff may make the decision to cancel that day of fishing.
  • If the Director’s Classic is cancelled, then USA BASSIN will refund $120.00 of the entry fee.
