Meet USA BASSIN's Directors Rick & Jennifer Ingram

USA BASSIN is now entering its tenth season providing a grass roots team tournament trail, catering to the weekend angler and our youth. Nationally and locally, U.S.A. BASSIN has partnered with many companies who believe in U.S.A. BASSIN’S goals and efforts. Anglers are assured a chance to win prizes, and have fun during the course of the season. Our tournament directors assure safe and fair tournaments every weekend. Directors have helped make USA BASSIN the nation’s number team tournament trail. Rick and Jennifer Ingram a father and daughter duo, have helped direct USA BASSIN tournaments across the state of Indiana since 2005. The two have worked tirelessly driving about 18,000 miles per year helping build USA BASSIN divisions and assisting others do the exactly the same. In the 2012 season the Ingram’s registered 656 team entries. The duo direct six divisions and assist with another.  When Rick is not working with BASSIN he is a technician for Greenwood High School.  Family is everything to Rick so he incorporates his tournament directing into the family. Jennifer his assistant director fishes a co-ed division they run together. Rick’s granddaughter Maribel fishes the Next Generation divisions with Rick each summer. Rick is the director that provides a great atmosphere and is always willing to help others. When asked; what is your most memorable moment thus far with USA BASSIN? Rick said; The Classic at Douglas Lake that hosted 385 boats. Ingram was asked what his favorite lake to fish in Indiana and he quickly replied Waveland Lake.  Rick’s advice to someone wanting to start a USA BASSIN division would be to Respect others like you would want to be respected. He went on to say that you shouldn’t be nervous about your turnouts the division will grow and you could not direct for a better organization. Rick and Jennifer’s work for BASSIN does not stop with directing tournaments. This year the two will represent BASSIN at the Outdoorsman sports show, Indy Sport and Travel Show and Next Generation weekend at Bass Pro Shops in Clarksville Indiana. USA BASSIN is fortunate to have directors across the nation like the Ingram’s. USA BASSIN encourages all that want to see a tournament in their area to contact him. Kevin Yeary CEO of USA BASSIN believes the directors are the backbone of BASSIN and help complete the mission of providing a team tournament trail that is second to none.
