Ed & Edwin Scales load the scales on Lake Monroe.

Winning isn't a walk in the park, and if you dive into the September regional tournaments in Indiana, you'll see why. Even the best strategies can leave you questioning everything you thought you knew about fishing, turning it into a real challenge. But honestly, that's part of the fun that keeps us coming back for more.

As the competitors took off across Lake Monroe with hopes of Bass Cat Classic glory, only one team could snag the top spot. That honor went to the duo Ed & Edwin Scales, perfect name for a team that hauled in a 5-fish limit weighing 15.30 pounds.

Second place was reeled in by Korbin Heminger and Trey Gault with a 4-fish bag weighing 14.51 pounds. Just one more bite and they might have taken the lead.

Finishing out the top three were Alex Neher and Gareth Brouwer with 13.77 pounds for the day. Their catch was highlighted by a 6.06-pound Largemouth from Monroe Lake, which snagged the Big Bass title for the day.
