Tommy Pedigo and Rick Hiser take top honors.
For the third straight year, Tommy Pedigo and Rick Hiser have won the Renegade Marine's Cabin Fever Open. They continued their dominance at Nolin and bested the field of 29 teams.
The fishing was slightly off due to a series of fronts that moved into leading up to the event. "The day started off chilly but turned out to be a nice day," said tournament director John Newton. "Because of that, the fishing wasn't as good as it usually is."
The winning team had a bag weighing 14.48-pounds that included a 5.32-pound fish. "It was much slower and we only caught seven fish," said Hiser. "We got the biggest one pretty early and it was tough all day long." The team caught their fish on reaction baits.
For the win, they took home the guaranteed $1,000 since this event was part of the Lucas Oil BIGMONEY Tournaments Series. The next in the series will be the Cabins at Dale Hollow Lake Open on April 9th.

Since nobody purchased a Lucas Oil product before this event, the $100 Run & Win with Lucas Oil prize from this event will roll over to the next Lucas Oil BIGMONEY tournament. The Cabins at Dale Hollow Open will award $200 if the following is met. We will have products for sale at the event.
Here is how it works!!
- Held during all Classics, Regionals, and Selected Lucas Oil Open Tournaments.
- After the tournament is over one (1) participating team will be drawn out in a random drawing.
- If the drawn team has purchased $30.00 worth of Lucas Oil Products from USA BASSIN during the registration of this event, the team will win a $100.00
- If no winner is achieved, $100.00 will be added to the total prize monies to be given away at the next sanctioned event and the pot will continue to grow!!

- The top 3 USA BASSIN teams of this event that acquire 250 or more points, fishing USA BASSIN tournaments during the 2017 season, they will also qualify for the Lucas Oil Tournament of Champions.
