Latest News Durham Tackle Missouri Regional![]() Monday, October 23, 2017 The Durham Tackle Missouri State Regional was held on October 21st on Pomme de Terre out of Hermitage State Park. It featured 28 teams vying for the guaranteed first place prize of $1,000. Taking the win was Rick Fishback who fished the event solo since his regular partner, Terry Blankenship, was fishing another tournament. He weighed a 16.28lb bag and won the event. Fishback said the fishing was very good for him as he was able to catch multiple keepers and short fish throughout the day. "The first hour was slow but once the sun came out I was able to catch quite a few on a Whopper Plopper with a Crank Wrap," he says and added that it is a wrap that can be added to lures to makes the bait look more realistic. After the topwater bite slowed he fished deep diving crankbaits in 12-15ft of water. "I was using a 6th Sense Lures Crush 300DD and Spro Little John DD, both with Crank Wraps," he shared. He keyed on main lake points for the topwater and secondary points for the crankbait. Top 5 Results
