Latest News Kansas State Regional Tuesday, September 26, 2017 The Kansas Regional was held on Wilson out of Hell Creek. The event was two days and featured tough fishing, but Dan Mcfarland and Edward Spencer figured out the puzzle with mostly largemouth on a smallmouth dominated fishery. First place was a guaranteed prize of $1,000. Mcfarland is from Oklahoma and Ed Spencer is from Kansas and they fish Wilson as much as they can. "We like fishing there, it is clear and a good smallmouth fishery. That is what makes this win cool because we had three keepers each day and five of the six we weighed in were largemouth," he said. They fished shallow grass to land their winning bass. Top 5 Results:
