Renegade Eastern Kentucky Regional

The Renegade Eastern Kentucky Regional was held on Cave Run Lake out of Clay Lick Ramp on September 18th.  Fishing conditions were tough and the 44 teams faced rainy conditions for most of the day.

Figuring out the puzzle and taking top honors was the team of Brad Barnes and Chris Thomas. Even though they only had three fish, they were all quality and they had 14.58lbs. Included in their bag was two over five pounds and another that weighed over three pounds.  The team reported catching more fish than that, but five were within the lake's 13-16 inch slot. 

"We caught them on topwater and plastic worms.  One five pounder came around 8:30, one around 11:30 and the last fish came around 2:00," said Barnes.
