We at U.S.A. Bassin are proud to support the “Relay for Life” tournament to be held at Guist Creek Lake, KY on April 4, 2009. All benefits from this event will go to the American Cancer Society.

 

The American Cancer Society is the nationwide, community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service. www.cancer.org

 

U.S.A. Bassin National Tournament Trail www.USABassin.com will give two free memberships ($50 value) to the 4th place team (first team out of the money). If it happens that the winners are already members of U.S.A. Bassin for this year, the memberships will be good towards the 2010 season.

 

 

Here are the details of the tournament:

 

The Directors Robert and Jennifer will be at the lake April 4, 2009 starting at 5:30 am taking registrations. Rules and a waiver statement must be signed with an entry fee of $50 per boat. Entry fees can be made by check to the American Cancer Society (your entry fee is tax deductible). Starting positions will be by draw from the chip can. The tournament starts at 7:00AM and ends at 1:00PM. All chips must be back in the can no later than 1:00pm.

 

Sponsor give away from Bill Gray and Cody Hall of B & C Baits donations of handmade Balsa Crank-Baits. Sparky Moffett donations of custom-made Crank Baits in a matching numbered collectors set. Two Quantum Accurist AC570PT Burner reels will also be given away after the weigh in.

 

Purnell's Sausage Co. and Morrison's Management Specialists donated all food items for the lunch menu. There will be hot dog or Bratwurst, chips, baked beans, desserts & drinks for $3.00. Morrison's also donated 100% of tournament pay back money. Steve Cloyd of Balfour has donated a lot of time and effort to get the T-Shirts done, which will be on sale the day of tournament. Charlie McClain and the Industrial Foundation for all of their efforts in getting our date locked down and a pavilion for our weigh-in. Mr. McClain and his staff at Guist Creek Lake will make sure that everything goes off without a hitch. The Dept. of Fish and Wildlife will bring a tank to hold fish in until the weigh in is over.

 

The payout will be 1st $500, 2nd $250, 3rd $100, 4th two free memberships to U.S.A. Bassin. All other prizes will be announced at the weigh-in.

 

Be sure to stay after the tournament to receive a great grab-bag and possibly win one of many of our great door prizes (you must be present to win).
