South Holston Lake Regional

The South Holston Lake Regional was held out of Ob Knob Ramp and featured some nice bags of fish. The team of Henard and Carpenter took the guaranteed first prize of $1,000 and also caught the biggest bass of the event.

The winning team caught just five keepers all day, but they weighed 17.06lbs to win by over three pounds. They also had the big bass at 6.75lbs. "We were fishing deep, open water all day with a topwater and with a drop-shot rig. The fish were suspended out there and we had four smallmouth and the big one was a largemouth," said Henard.

Second place was Willie R. Brown and Brad Snapp with 13.98lbs.

Third place was Ricky Roberts and Robert Gross with 12.10lbs.
