Introducing Evilution Lures

Evilution Lures was started with a story that all bass anglers can relate to, having your favorite lure discontinued by a tackle company. Charlie Points is a tournament bass angler like yourself and competes in USA Bassin tournaments and the Kentucky Bass Federation. He was tired of seeing his favorite lures become unavailable, so he started making his own. What started as a way to make some lures continued to him making lures for his fishing buddies and now Evilution Lures are available to everyone.

They make a variety of baits designed for tournament anglers to catch more fish and they are a custom lure company. “We get guys who call us looking for a very specific color of skirt on their baits and we make it custom just for them,” said Carina Paynter of Evilution Lures. The custom aspect and dedication to customer service is what sets them apart and we are glad to have them on board as a USA Bassin sponsor.

Their two top-selling lures are the Evil “V” and the Wicked RS (River Special), both specialty spinnerbaits.

The Evil “V's” is a twin-spin and the design is what makes up the company’s logo. It has a “V” shape with two wires and two Willow and two Colorado blades attached for maximum spin and vibration. It is a very unique design and retails for $5.25.

The next most popular bait by Evilution is another spinnerbait, a more compact offering called the Wicked RS. It is a smaller size, but features oversized blades to get a better action in the water especially when fishing in current. This bait retails for $5.29.
