Latest News Flannagan Lake Regional Tuesday, September 23, 2014 The team of Christopher Fleming and Justin Stanley won the Flannagan Lake Regional. They finished in second place last year and improved on that finish during the 2014 regional. They were one of just two teams to weigh a limit during the event and emerged victorious. Their limit weighed in at 7.33lbs and was enough to win by over half of a pound in the event. "We caught a total of nine keepers throughout the day, but it was really slow. It was a grind," said Stanley. The summer has been tough on Flannagan Lake, but they were able to find something different. "We focused on fishing grass and were just covering as many spots as we could during the day," added Fleming. Second Place was the team of Keith and Bobby Skykes, who were the only other team to weigh a limit. They ended the day with 6.79lbs. Third Place was Shadrick Skeens who fished solo. His three smallmouth weighed 5.55lbs. Congrats to the top finishers! U.S,A, Bassin would like to thank all of the teams for their participation this year.
