Latest News Lake Barkley Regional Tuesday, October 15, 2024 Lake Barkley and the Cumberland River are like legendary landmarks in the fishing world, and that's why the last stretches of the Cumberland are the ultimate spot for the USA Bassin Regional. A crowd of talented anglers showed up, but John and Hunter Fillmore totally stole the show. They crushed it with a 5-bass catch weighing 19.31 pounds, and the highlight was a 4.23-pounder.
Coming in second, Todd Hensley and Marty Sisk pulled in 5 fish totaling 18.57 pounds, while Tom Head and Ron Frazier snagged third place with their 17.47-pound haul.
The Big Fish title of the event went to Mark Cooper and Mike Williams with a standout 4.87-pounder!
Huge congrats to all 37 teams who made it into the Bass Cat Classic on Kentucky Lake this spring. Let’s go catch some bass!
