Latest News West Virginia Regional Tuesday, October 17, 2023 The West Virginia Regional was held on Stonewall Jackson on October 8th and the father and son team of Johnny and Isaiah Crockett took the win with 16.43lbs. They had an excellent day, boating over 40 fish on the way to the win. "We caught them all fishing swim jigs over grass flats," said Johnny. "We caught fish all day, but the bigger fish came in the afternoon. Isaiah caught one just under four pounds around 2 o'clock and I got the 4.99lb fish around 1:30 p.m." The two kicker fish helped them win by over four pounds and Crockett said their weight was right in line with what it usually takes to win here. "A lot of tournaments we fish have a six-fish limit and it takes between 18 and 20 pounds," he said. "We figured it out and our best six on the day would have been right there." Top 5 Results
