Latest News Rocky Fork Lake Regional Monday, September 25, 2023 The Rocky Fork Lake Regional was held this past weekend out of the East Shore Marina Ramp and featured tough fishing overall, but the duo of Gunner Davis and Bruce Helton took the win with 13.63lbs. "I was shocked that we won. I didn't think we had a chance with our weight," said Davis. "We started catching them as soon as we started fishing and had our first keeper in the first 20 minutes. it was a good area, so we kept it on spotlock fishing a grass line in 4 to 6 feet of water. We stayed there til about 11:00." Throughout the day, they estimated catching three limits of bass by quickly fishing soft plastics to get reaction bites but only culled three times. "We had our first limit and then and looked for bigger fish," he said. "We culled three times but caught a lot that didn't help. All of our fish were about the same between 2.5 and 3.25lbs and we never found a bigger one." Top 5
