Qualifying for Next Generation Classic

Qualifying for Next Generation Classic

Thursday, July 14, 2011

This years (2nd year) Next Generation Classic will be held on Kentucky Lake on June 15 & 16 2012.  You do not need to qualify thru a Regional; you just need to meet the 150 Next Generation points.  There are currently 42 of the 77 teams with the needed 150 qualifying points.  Look for the field to be around 40-50 teams at the Next Generation Classic.  Remember scholarship money is on the line. It's not too late to quailfy even if you haven't put your team together yet this year.  You have until August 31st to abtain the 150 points.

Current teams make sure you get your 150 points and new teams get your partner and get signed up.  There are several Next Generation Divisions or you can fish any of the Team Trail tournaments, just make sure you're signed up as a Next Generation Team. Contact the director of the tournament you would like to fish and ask for assistance. Current adult members would not have to pay for a Next Generation membership and the youth membership is free. Pass on the passion with our youth.
