Latest News Co-Ed Classic Monday, October 31, 2022 The Co-Ed Classic was held on Barren River Lake this past weekend. Taking first was the team of John and Leslie Newton, with a two-day total of 23.70. After the first day, they were second with a limit weighing 12.80lbs. They added four for 8.90 to take the win. The two fishing days were vastly different in terms of the weather, but they were able to adapt each day to catch fish. Both days, however, featured quick flurries to catch all of their fish. "The first day was sunny and the second day was rainy and nasty," said John Newton. "The first day, we only had five bites and all of them came on a spinnerbait in about ten minutes. The second day, we didn't have any fish at 11:30 and caught four real quick on a jig in 20 minutes. Both days, it was like a light switch was turned on and they started biting." Top 5
