Ceasear's Creek Regional

Ceasear's Creek Regional

Monday, October 24, 2022

The Ceasear's Creek Regional was held on Ceasear's Creek out of the Wellman's Ramp on October 23rd. It was a close one as the team of Richard Burns and Ben Middleton took the win with three bass for 8.82. Their catch included the day's biggest bass, a 5.06lb fish.  Their winning total was just .03 more than the Seiber and Bissonett duo, who had 8.79lbs.

Their three fish were enough to earn the win, but they didn't come easy. "We had six bites all day, caught three and lost the others," said Burns. "We started in a small creek and caught the big one and then got a 12-incher on our way back out. Then we went three hours without a bite and decided to run to another creek."

They were able to catch one more keeper in the last 30 minutes of the day, targeting shallow wood like they did for the other two fish. "We were pitching green pumpkin tubes and Critter Craws," said Burns.
