Latest News Lake Barkley Regional Monday, October 24, 2022 The Lake Barkley Regional was held out of the Kuttawa Boat Ramp on October 9th. Taking the win was the team of Bill and Billy Schroeder with a limit weighing 18.25lbs. The event's big bass was included in their bag, a 6.23llb fish. After a 90-minute fog delay, the Schroeder team made the run to Kentucky Lake and caught fish immediately before the action slowed. "We caught two within the first ten minutes or so and then went four hours without another bite," said Bill Schroeder. "Then, we caught one every thirty minutes or so to fill out our limit. We only have five bites and that's what we brought back in." The team focused on shallow water with topwaters and caught their fifth fish with just ten minutes remaining before they had to run back.
