Latest News Bass Cat Silver Cup Winners Monday, April 25, 2022 The Bass Cat Silver Cup was held on Chickamauga on April 22nd and 23rd and teams were vying for the top prize of a Bass Cat Margay with a 150hp Mercury Outboard and other big cash prizes. Taking the win was the team of Doug and Greg Martin with 30.41lbs over two days. After leading the event after the first day with 20.13lbs, they added 10.28 to secure the win. "The first day was great and we had a seven and a five and some other good ones," the team shared. "We caught them on a frog and jig and went through about 12 keepers." The second day was much tougher on them and likely due to a later boat draw. "We were in a later flight and missed that good morning bite like we had on the first day," they shared. "We had to go to finesse fishing and didn't get our fifth fish until 2:00. We culled once more at 3:30 and didn't think we had enough to win it."
