As Next Generation members grow so do the growing pain with starting a tournament trail. Recently I published online an article about Alan and Tyler Harris as National Points Champions. However, the two are the National point’s team leading at the end of the season (Seasonal Points Champions). The title is very important and holds a prize all its own. Although this years Classic, point leaders in all divisions, all Open next generation point leaders from each state and the seasonal national point’s leader  will compete for National points Championship and a $500 Scholarship from Bassin’. All teams will still fishing for other scholarship and prize money listed on the website.  Please forgive me and the folks at Bassin’ for the confusion.Our Goal at Bassin’ is to provide the very best tournament trail for Adult/Youth to compete in a friendly and fair environment.  In 2010 almost fifty teams qualified for the Next Generation Classic to be held on Lake Douglas June11, 2011. Those who qualified will be receiving an invitation by mail. Please complete and turn the entries in ASAP, this is information will assist us in providing the very best tournament for our first Next Generation Classic.
