April is going to be one of biggest months for USA Bassin’ with two great tournaments scheduled. Kentucky Lake will once again host our Classic. (Now Called the Nitro Classic) Anglers that qualified through regional tournaments will compete April 15th and 16th. Anglers that did not qualify for a Nitro Classic spot may fish the Tracker Cup held two weeks prior on April 8th and 9th. March 15th, 2011 is the deadline for all entries in both of these great tournaments.

The Nitro Classic Tournament will top the all time total money and prizes ever given out at a Bassin’ Classic. Nitro, Tracker, and Mercury Marine have all stepped up once again with some great boat packages to be given away. Nitro Z-8 valued at $32,995, Nitro Z-7 valued at $23,995, Nitro Z-5 valued at $17,995 will be first, second and third prizes respectively. A fourth boat a Tracker Pro Team 170TX valued at $11,995 will be given away at the pre-tournament meeting to a lucky qualifying team by drawing. The Tracker Cup will held two weeks prior to the Nitro Cup on April 8th and 9th. The Tracker Cup was created so Bassin’ anglers that did not qualify for the Nitro Classic, a chance to fish Kentucky Lake in a tournament setting. The field is limited to 250 boats. Between the Cup and Classic this year Tracker and Nitro are also sponsoring a Big Bass Tournament. The tournament will be $25 per team held Wednesday April 13th, 2011. For more information and entry forms see the Bassin’ website.
