The Rocky Fork Lake Regional was held on September 26th out of East Shore Marina Ramp and the teams were battling for the guaranteed first place prize of $3,000. Taking the win was Travis and Randy Lewis with 13.90lbs, winning the event by over four pounds. The fishing was a challenge for many teams and Travis Lewis said they were fortunate to find the winning area, a 150-200 yard stretch of duckweed and lily pads on the lake's west end that held better quality fish. "We caught eight or nine keepers and just went back and forth on that stretch," he said and added they were targeting water near the bank that was approximately two feet deep. "We caught them in little flurries and it seemed like when you caught one, it would activate the rest of them.." Included in their bag was a 4.34 pounder, one over three pounds and two pounders to fill their limit. They caught all of their bass fishing frogs around the duck weed. Top 5
