Lake Monroe Fall Division 2010

Lake Monroe Fall Division took off on a remembered 9/11 date. Director Rick Ingram started the field at 7:30am under heavy rain and wind. The area has been extremely dry for many weeks and the water run off quickly mudded up many areas. Water temps adveraged in the low 70's. The wind and rain had stoped just before noon allowing everyone enough sunshine to dry out weigh-in.

Father and son team of Jeff and Austin Roberts captured the first win of the division with a five fish limit totaling 12.42.  Jeff and Austin was still learning there way around a new boat only a week old. The tournament was the first in the boat. Jeff said after the tournament "it felt good to start off with a win on the boat".  Team Roberts are also this years winners of the Southern Indiana Division.

Brothers Jay and Jessie Foserink are no strangers to big bass on Lake Monroe and this time was no exception. The team turned in a 5.66 largmouth to take big bass.

Fall Divisions have just begun and so has the mark of another season. Points aquired in the fall will apply to the 2011 season. New memberships are now being taken for the start of the 2011 National Tournament Trail. Remember only one membership is required to fish both the National Tournament Trail and The Next Generation. However, the points do not combine. Points aquired as a Next Generation team stay with that team and visa versa.
