Latest News Carlyle Lake Regional Monday, September 30, 2019 The Carlyle Lake Regional was held on September 29th and featured a guaranteed first place prize of $5,000. The team of Belcher and Parker were able to take the win thanks to a clutch cull near the end of the day. "We had a limit by 9:17 and then it slowed down for us. My partner caught one on a jig at 2:20 and that allowed us to cull 3/4 of a pound," said Belcher. "That one put us over the top." The team focused on riprap and targeted bass that were chasing shad. "We were using shad colored crankbaits and matching the hatch. Four of our keeper fish came on the crankbait and the other two bit a jig," he said. "We tried fishing wood but they wanted the riprap.
