Latest News Cave Run Regional Monday, September 30, 2019 The Cave Run Regional was held this past weekend on Cave Run Lake. It featured a $4,000 guaranteed first place prize. The team of Carl Runyon and Charlie Perry edged out Evan and Grant Ferguson for the win. Cave Run has a slot limit for bass and that added to the challenge this day. Runyon and Perry were able to overcome that thanks to a fast start to the day. "We set the boat down and had four keepers in the first 20-minutes," they said. "We ended up catching nine keeper fish total and about 15-bass overall." The team focused on deep water that ranged from 15 to 25-feet deep and caught their bass with a shaky head and a crankbait.
