Latest News Massachusetts State Regional Wednesday, September 18, 2019 The Massachusetts State Regional was held this on Big Squam with teams trying to take home the guaranteed first place prize of $1,000. The winning team was Timothy Joyce and Brian Joyce, a father/son duo who had 11.84lbs. Their weight was buoyed by the big bass of the tournament, a 3.96lb largemouth. Tim Joyce said the lake is an excellent smallmouth lake, but they were able to catch two big largemouth bass to seal the victory. "We had a 3.96 and 3.08 and we caught them on back to back casts on the same rockpile with a drop-shot," he said. The two difference-makers were landed in the morning. They caught plenty of other bass throughout the day and when the weights were tallied, their 11.84lbs was over two pounds more than the team of Taylor and Roy. Congrats, guys! Top 5 Results
