Latest News Rend Lake Regional Tuesday, September 10, 2019 The Rend Lake Regional featured a guaranteed first place prize of $5,000 with 129 teams vying for the win. Travis Gillett and Jon Schoonover were the team that took home the title. Gillett recapped the event and said they had a good day of fishing until the rain stopped. "We had a limit by around 9:30 and the culled one time after that. It was steady fishing until the rain quit," he said. In total, they landed nine keeper bites and spent the day shallow. "We were flipping shallow wood," said Gillett. Their 15.66lb bag included two solid fish over 4.5lbs and three decent keepers. Top 5 Results
