Team Gary Beauchamp/David Long Win BPS Rewards 10-18-09

Team Beauchamp/Long fished the KY-01 Prowler Twin Lakes Fall division at Barren River Lake on October 18, 2009 and took 1st place out of a 45 boat field. The team weighed in (5) fish totaling 16.45lbs. The team received 1st place cash of $640 and $400 cash $100 (BPS rewards) from the BPS Tournament Rewards Program for their win.

The team fished out of Pro Craft 210 Super Pro in Gunmetal/Blue with a Mercury motor that was purchased at Renegade Marine in Leitchfield, KY.

Their catches came from deep water on the main lake around points and bluff walls using jigs.

“During practice we found the fishing was getting slower all week and there wasn’t a shallow bite. On tournament morning it was cold and we had a fog delay. We fished deep and it was a slow bite all day, but we were fortunate to get the bites we needed.

We enjoy fishing the U.S.A. Bassin circuit and the director John Newton does a good job running the divisions we fish.

We are very happy with the BPS Tournament Rewards Program! This year alone we have received close to $10,000 and close to $20,000 last year in bonus rewards from this program. This is an excellent program they offer!”

The BPS Tournament Rewards Program:

All USA Bassin events that have 20 boats or more and owners of a new or pre-owned (any model year) NITRO, PROCRAFT, TRACKER, MAKO, KENNER or SEACRAFT boat are eligible for rewards. BPS Tournament Rewards are given out in the form of cash, Bass Pro Rewards Points, or a $1,000 boat discount certificate.

To become eligible for program incentives or boat discount certificates, owners of eligible boats must submit their registration for Tournament Rewards membership prior to participation in a qualifying tournament event. Don’t pass up this opportunity to make some bonus money!
