West Virginia Regional

The West Virginia Regional was held on Summersville Lake and the lake lived up to its reputation for tight weights. Taking the win was Herb Ratliff and Jonathan Batton who did most of their damage very late in the day. They won the guaranteed $1,000 first place prize.

"At 3:00 we finally filled out our limit and then caught a few more between 3:00-4:00," said Batton. "We were able to cull and catch the big one late in the day." They also had the big bass of the tournament with a 2.28lb smallmouth. They caught all of their fish fishing small finesse baits in deep water.
