Latest News Brookville Lake Open Thursday, August 09, 2018 The Brookville Lake Open was the fourth event of the Indiana Lucas Oil Big Money Tournament series. The event featured a guaranteed first place prize of $1,500. Taking top honors was the team of Denny Johnson and Phil Hunt. They had a 15.90lb limit and outdistanced second place by over three pounds. They brought in a solid bag and overcame a culling mistake to win big and take the first place prize. The team started off with a small limit and then endured a long dry spell before catching another fish. "We culled one too many fish and the realized we only had four in the livewell," said Johnson. They thought they had given up their chance at $1,500 and then right at the end of the day they caught three fish in the three-pound class fill out their limit and cull up to the winning weight. They caught their fish on PH Custom football head jigs. The final event in this series will be the Ohio River Open on August 19th. Top 5 Results:
